Music for solo piano inspired by the novel 'Gestes et opinions du docteur Faustroll pataphysicien' by Alfred Jarry by Garry DW Judd.

Harry Rylance recorded these pieces in the legendary Dean St. Studios nestled in the heart of Soho, London.

'imaginary music' comprises of three books of eleven pieces. These performances are from books 1 & 2...Book 3 is in progress.

Harry Rylance is an acclaimed and highly versatile pianist. As a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist, and répétiteur, he has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Royal Concertgebouw, the Grand Hall of Budapest, Glyndebourne Opera House, the London Coliseum, the Seoul Arts Centre, the Toronto Glenn Gould Concert Hall, and at international music festivals including Aspen, Heidelberg, Dartington and Petworth.

Bonus tracks include the three "Ghastly Nectarine pieces" written over 25 years ago and recorded in the same sessions and they share the hallucinatory quality of the Jarry pieces.
