    An introduction to 100 Electric Nocturnes, which began as a series of pieces for solo piano and developed into a collection of standard notated and realbook, text, graphic and imaginary scores for any soloist/ensemble.

    The music, arranged in ten books of ten pieces can be thought of as a grid of interrelated works, all very calming and meditative in nature.

    This CD contains a selection of the Electric Nocturnes for solo piano and piano with clarinet, flutes, saxophones and violin and solo celelste. Featuring performances by Garry DW Judd, Peter Cigleris, Theo Travis, Kemal Yusuf, Naomi Belshaw and the whole of Book 10 (Recapitulation) by Harry Rylance.
